Iga’s winning run was finally halted at 37 consecutive victories by Alizé Cornet in the third round at Wimbledon. After her impressive campaign at the Australian Open, the French player sealed one of her best victories to date (6-4 6-2) to progress into the second week at the All England Club for the second time in her career.
