The clay season started with Stefanos Tsitsipas’ back-to-back in Monte Carlo. Despite having less of a favourite status than Novak Djokovic or Carlos Alcaraz in the Principality, the Greek player confirmed his reputation as a force to be reckoned with on clay. Though his Grand Slam season was less fruitful, he nevertheless finished the year with the highest number of wins (61) and two titles (Majorca and Monte Carlo).
