A few days later, another wave of emotion ran through the world of tennis. Having been issued a wildcard for the ATP 250 tournament in Buenos Aires after a break of 2 years, 7 months and 19 days, Juan Martin Del Potro played the last match of his professional career against his friend Federico Delbonis. Visibly moved, the 2009 US Open champion placed his famous headband on the net before receiving a heartfelt tribute courtesy of the whole tour.
