News, photos and live updates from Roland-Garros 2026 on Day 13 of the main draw
Title town for Knoesen
Away from Chatrier, and Britain’s Matthew Knoesen has landed the wheelchair boys’ singles title on Court 12. The No.2 seed won a tight first set before wrapping up a 7-6(4), 6-4 victory against German top seed Alexander Lantermann.
Saturday Chatrier order of play
Tomorrow's Chatrier schedule is out when there will be two finals played on the main show court. At 11am the men's doubles final will see defending champions Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos facing Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara. The women's singles final will be on court not before 3pm when No.8 seed Mirra Andreeva and qualifier Maja Chwalinska both go for a first Grand Slam title.
Zverev and Mensik on court
We’re ready to roll on Chatrier as Alexander Zverev and Jakub Mensik appear on court ahead of the first men’s semifinal. It’s a second meeting between these two after Zverev beat Mensik 6-4, 6-7(4), 6-3 in Madrid on clay a few weeks back, although the Czech was up a break in that final set. Zverev looks for his fourth Grand Slam final, while Mensik is playing his first major semifinal and hopes to break new ground with a maiden Grand Slam final at the age of 20. Britain's James Keothavong is in the chair. The roof is open, it's overcast and cool today at 18c so conditions will be relatively slow and heavy. Follow the action through the links below.
Granollers and Zeballos into final
Before the start of the first men's semifinal we’ve just got time to bring you news of Spain's Marcel Granollers and Argentina's Horacio Zeballos’ passage into the men’s doubles final. They finished the job 7-6(4), 6-4 against all-Italian team Andrea Vavassori and Simone Bolelli and will play Brit Henry Patten and Finn Harri Heliovaara in the final.
Zverev-Mensik in 30 minutes
The first men's semifinal between Alexander Zverev and Jakub Mensik will be on court in 30 minutes at 2.30pm Paris time. The RG edit team have been hard at work and have rustled up a lovely head-to-head video to get us in the mood.
Sasson and Vink crowned quad doubles champions
Israel’s Guy Sasson and Dutchman Niels Vink are our latest champions after beating Sam Schroder and Jin Woodman 6-4, 6-3 in the quad wheelchair doubles final.
Vink has unfinished business in Paris over the weekend when he’ll be back in the singles final to play Turkey’s Ahmet Kaplan.
Chris Oddo met the young Dutchman earlier in the week to talk about his quest for a calendar grand slam in 2026.
De Groot takes out top seed Kamiji
Former world No.1 Diede de Groot is into another women’s wheelchair singles final after beating defending champion and top seed Yui Kamiji 6-4, 6-2 on Court 14.
The Dutchwoman is a match away from a sixth RG wheelchair singles trophy and will play Frenchwoman Ksenia Chasteau in the final after the 20-year-old earlier beat the second seed from China Li Xiaohui.
De Groot claimed 23 of the 30 major singles titles on offer between 2017-2024, before undergoing hip surgery 18 months ago. That procedure forced her to miss eight months of tour tennis. The 29-year-old is a match away from a 24th Grand Slam singles title.
Granollers-Zeballos in front
There’s just over an hour before the first men’s semifinal and over on Court Simonne-Mathieu Spain-Argentina defending champions Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos have just taken the first set of their men's doubles semifinal against Italians Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori 7-6(4).
The winners will play British-Finn team Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara in the final. Both women's doubles semifinals are coming up on that court this afternoon.
Elsewhere, women’s wheelchair singles top seed Yui Kamiji from Japan is in trouble in her semifinal against the great Diede De Groot with the Dutchwoman ahead by a set and 5-1 on Court 14.
Guy Sasson and Niels Vink are a set and break up in the quad doubles final on Court 7.
Reporter round-up for Thursday
Chris Oddo brought us news of the first final of Roland-Garros 2026 as Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori became the first No.1 seeds to win the RG mixed doubles since 2019, successfully defending their title from 2025. Looking ahead to Friday’s men’s singles semifinal, Chris then tracked down Matteo Arnaldi’s coach Fabio Colangelo to talk about his charge’s extraordinary mental strength.
Dedicated Errani fan Alex Sharp got over his disappointment at not being on her final by settling in for the first of the women’s singles semifinals as Mirra Andreva ended the 17-match winning streak of Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk. He then squeezed into Mirra’s press conference where she talked about how focused she is on the final.
Dan Imhoff took his seat on Chatrier for the second women’s semifinal and Maja Chwalinska’s extraordinary takedown of No.25 seed Diana Shnaider, making her the first qualifier to get through to the RG final. He then spoke to Chwalinska about how her obsession for tennis growing up may now be standing her in good stead.
With the end of the night sessions, we’ve sadly had to say goodbye to Victoria Chiesa, but on a positive note, Lee Goodall wrapped everything up and got out of Blog HQ before midnight.

Gryp wins wheelchair girls singles title 🏆
Belgian No.1 seed Luna Gryp (pictured left) has won the wheelchair girls' singles title with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over No.2 seed Seira Matsuoka.
Gryp and Matsuoka will pair up later in the day in the girls wheelchair doubles title - facing the USA's Lucy Heald and Paula Michelle Lopez Meza from Colombia.
More paws...
Alexander Zverev has arrived on site for his semifinal this afternoon, accompanied by one of his most important team members. And he's not the only player to have a canine accomplice, as Alex Sharp found out the other day.
Welcome to Day 13
There are just three days to go of what has been a tournament full of shocks, surprises and inspiring stories. Between now and Sunday evening there will be 18 Roland-Garros trophies awarded 🏆 in addition to the mixed doubles final that was won yesterday by No.1 seeds Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori.
Starting at 11:00, among the first of today’s seven finals is the men’s quad doubles, as No.1 seeds Niels Vink and Guy Sasson take on No.2 seeds Sam Schroder and Jin Woodman.
Belgium’s Luna Gryp and Japan’s Seira Matsuoka each have the opportunity for two trophies today - they face each other in the wheelchair girls singles final on Court 12 and will later pair up to go for the doubles title too.
