The Roland-Garros Style at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann

The Roland-Garros Style hits Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann!

For the second year running, Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann is signing up for the Roland-Garros experience, from 19 May to 13 June, with the two iconic Parisian brands joining forces to create a tournament-themed environment.

The celebrated department store on Boulevard Haussmann will give its customers the chance to experience Roland-Garros in an altogether different way, inviting them to watch matches broadcast by France Télévisions on a giant screen on its rooftop from 30 May*. Comfortably installed in deckchairs at this iconic space, customers can sit back and enjoy the tennis while also soaking up the magnificent views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. It’s a unique experience that is not to be missed.

They can also capture the moment for posterity by posing with a giant crocodile for a Lacoste-sponsored photo opportunity.

*The installation on the terrace will be accessible to the public from 29 May.

Three Roland-Garros-branded pop-up stores

Galeries Lafayette will also be home to three Roland-Garros-branded pop-up stores. Situated on the ground floor of the Coupole store, the first of them will sell the brand’s products (for women, men and children), the must-have official Carré Blanc players’ towels, and the all new JM Weston Roland-Garros sports shoe.

A second pop-up store will go up on the second floor of the Homme store and will sell the co-branded Lacoste and Roland-Garros collections, including the Performance line, which features the clothing worn by the players in the Lacoste stable and the official uniforms worn by the Roland-Garros umpires and ball kids. Rounding off the range is a lifestyle and accessories line (including caps and sunglasses) and the new Lacoste/Roland-Garros fragrance.

The third pop-up store, located on the sixth floor of the Coupole store, will sell gifts and souvenirs from the Roland-Garros Poster line (mugs, keyrings, magnets, T-shirts) and a line of Eiffel Towers in Roland-Garros colours, designed in collaboration with the brand Merci Gustave. This year’s tournament poster has been designed by Jean Claracq.

Customers of Mastercard, official suppliers to Roland-Garros, will enjoy a special welcome at the second and third of the pop-up stores, staffed by dedicated Mastercard hosts. As well as receiving a 15% discount on their purchases, they will also enjoy speedy service courtesy of the new Roland-Garros mobile payment solution.

Thanks to this new collaboration, all the products on sale at the Roland-Garros online store will also be available at its Galeries Lafayette counterpart.
