Opening Week: qualifying action and star practice sessions
A must‑attend moment for the sport’s most dedicated fans, the Roland‑Garros qualifying tournament offers each year a unique opportunity to discover the tour’s future stars and to support those hoping to spring a surprise in the main draw. In 2025, for example, Victoria Mboko first caught the attention of the wider public by winning all three of her qualifying matches before reaching the third round. A breakthrough later confirmed by a WTA 1000 title and a spectacular rise into the world’s Top 10.
Opening Week at Roland‑Garros (from 18 to 22 May) also allows spectators to get closer than ever to the players, across all the courts of the Roland‑Garros stadium, including court Suzanne‑Lenglen, whose magnificent retractable roof ensures play can continue whatever the weather.
And if discovering emerging talents and witnessing the battle for a spot in the main draw of the 2026 edition does not fully satisfy your tennis appetite, you will also have the chance to take a seat in the stands of the legendary court Philippe‑Chatrier to watch the WTA and ATP stars during their practice sessions. Whether it’s reigning champions Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff or their many rivals for the title, all will be on site during this Opening Week to fine‑tune their preparations ahead of competition.
Are you convinced? Then book your tickets for Opening Week this Tuesday, 31 March, from 10:00.
Last week: a package on the outside courts
This new ticket sales window also covers the final week of competition, which coincides with the start of several unmissable events at the Parisian Grand Slam. From June 1 to 7, a ticket for the outside courts will allow you to cheer on the athletes competing in wheelchair and quad tennis, as well as the many young players dreaming of writing their names into the junior singles and doubles record books.
Beyond soaking up the competitive atmosphere across all disciplines, spectators can also enjoy a generous dose of entertainment and good spirits by attending the ever‑popular Trophée des Légendes by Emirates.
Ready once again to fully embrace the Roland‑Garros experience? Then book your tickets for the outside courts during the last week this Tuesday, from 10:00.
