Wheelchair tennis at RG from May 31 to June 4

A line-up with more players

There are significantly more players taking part in the wheelchair and quad events for Roland-Garros 2022, which will unfold from 31 May until 4 June. This year, the wheelchair tennis tournament, organised in partnership with The Adecco Group, will have two line-ups of twelve men’s players and twelve women’s players. In previous years, eight players have competed in each. In 2022, bumping this number to 12 means even more matches to enjoy, plus the men’s and women’s top 10 players can all compete in each event.

The line-up has also expanded in the quad tournament. This year, eight players will be competing whereas in previous years there were only four.

Wheelchair tennis on centre court!

This year, the wheelchair tennis and quad tournaments will follow the same schedule as the other events in the Paris Grand Slam. So, the semi-finals will unfold on 2 and 3 June, with the final on Saturday 4 June. The new schedule now means there’ll be several matches to enjoy on Philippe-Chatrier court on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. Plus, wheelchair tennis and quad tennis matches can enjoy the setting and crowds that they deserve.
