An undisputed legend of the sport, Novak Djokovic has spent two decades redefining the limits of success, longevity, consistency and ambition. Turning professional in 2003, he quickly established himself as one of the few players able to truly challenge Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, paving the way for what would become the most iconic trio in tennis history.

It was in 2008 that "Nole" made his explosive breakthrough at the highest level, capturing his first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open and bringing an end to the "Fedal" dominance in the Majors. What followed were seasons of extraordinary mastery, most notably in 2011, when he won three of the four Grand Slam tournaments and rose to the summit of world tennis. He would replicate that exceptional feat twice more, in 2021 and 2023.

This sustained dominance allowed him to build the most dazzling trophy cabinet of the Open era. In total, the "Djoker" has secured 24 Grand Slam titles – the all-time men’s record – including 10 Australian Open, 7 Wimbledon, 4 US Open and 3 Roland-Garros crowns, making him the only player in history to have won each major at least three times. His supremacy extends far beyond the Grand Slams: he also holds the all-time record for Masters 1000 titles (40) and ATP Finals victories (7). To this already extraordinary résumé – which includes the record for most weeks spent as world No.1 (428) – he added an Olympic gold medal at the Paris 2024 Games, becoming only the fifth player in history to complete the career Golden Slam and cementing himself even further among the sport’s immortals.

A phenomenal returner, supreme counter-puncher, physically unmatched and gifted with tactical intelligence few have ever approached, Djokovic has built a complete and near-flawless game that allows him to adapt to every surface and every opponent with an almost unreal ease. Winner of marathon matches now etched into tennis folklore and author of extraordinary comebacks, he is widely regarded as the undisputed master of psychological dominance.

A central figure of the "Big 3", Novak Djokovic continues to show, season after season, that his story is far from over and that his pursuit of a 25th Grand Slam title remains very much alive. His insatiable hunger was highlighted by his four major semi-finals in 2025 and, above all, by his run to the final in Melbourne in 2026. Beaten at the last hurdle by Carlos Alcaraz, he had nevertheless defeated two-time defending champion Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals. Enough to establish himself as the "third man" in the era of this new ultra-dominant "Big 2".
