Tian, Heide secure junior wildcards

The adventure continues for Tian Frangran and Gustavo Heide at Roland-Garros!

Winners of the “Roland-Garros Junior Wild Card Series by OPPO”, they each clinched a wildcard for the main draw of the junior singles tournaments, which will take place from 2 to 8 June at Roland-Garros.

During the final phase, played on Saturday on the spectacular Court 14, Tian defeated Baharmus 6-1, 6-3 and Camilla Bossi 6-2, 6-3 to secure a place in the girls' singles draw.

In the boys’ tournament, Gustavo Heide won successive matches over LI Zixuan 6-0, 6-2 and Mann Shah 7-5, 6-3, to join the Roland-Garros junior field.

This final phase was contested by three girls and three boys under the age of 18 from three countries (Brazil, India and China).

They earned their place in the final by winning the qualifying rounds on clay in their home country, in Itajaí in Brazil, Anning in China and New Delhi in India.
