After the Grand Finale of the 2021 Roland-Garros eSeries by BNP Paribas, held today at Roland-Garros, Alexandre Lepine (FRA) has been crowned the 2021 international champion.

The competition, played on the Tennis World Tour 2 PS4 video game, took place in the BNP Paribas VIP lounge areas inside Philippe-Chatrier court.

Alexandre Lepine (FRA) defeated Alessandro Dapporto (ITA) in the final 3/0 3/1 3/0.

Eight players from Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom, came through the qualifiers to reach the Grande Finale.

The two finalists will share a cash prize of €5,000, while the winner will be invited for tests at HumanFab, a research lab for physical preparation designed for high-level athletes and e-athletes, and take part in a week-long bootcamp at the MCES Gaming Center in Marseille starting on 31 May.

The Grand Finale was live streamed on Gaël Monfils’ Twitch channel. The French player was accompanied by Rivenzi to host the final hurdle of the 2021 Roland-Garros eSeries by BNP Paribas.

Gaël Monfils and Rivenzi also had a number of special guests lined up for the event: Martin Solveig, the world-famous French DJ; Alex Lutz, winner of the César Award for Best Actor in 2019; and Domingo, one of the rare French Twitch streamers to have reached one million followers, as well as Clara Burel and Arthur Cazaux.
