Zverev vs Dzumhur: a battle royale on Chatrier
The German and the Bosnian battled for almost four hours before the No.2 seed prevailed in five.
The fourth set was one turbulent affair. Firstly, Dzumhur collided with a poor ball boy, then having just missed a chance to break, the 26-year-old took a bite from the net tape. However, the world No.29 was soon smiling as a rocket forehand chalked up a 3-2 break lead. Back soared Zverev as the enthralled crowd conjured up quite the atmosphere. A tie-break was required and the second seed controlled proceedings to haul the match into a deciding set.
