The second-round match between Jakub Mensik and Mariano Navone has ended. After four hours and 41 minutes, Mensik wins the fifth set 13–11 in a tiebreak. He is suffering in the heat that day, converts his seventh match point and collapses. As he remains on the ground, Navone comes over to congratulate him before leaving the court. Mensik takes about fifteen minutes to get back on his feet after receiving assistance from the medical staff.
