My goal was to take pictures of Naomi Osaka as she left Court Simonne-Matthieu because the players walk through the crowd and it creates a buzz that doesn’t happen on other courts. After that, Naomi was discreetly escorted through the gardens for a much quieter return. The opportunity was too good to pass up; I 'got my foot in the door' to take advantage of it and finally captured that rare moment of calm and relaxation after her second-round victory.
