"Innovation, creativity, heritage, ecological efficiency"

The court Philippe-Chatrier project was designed, in partnership with the FFT’s teams, by the architecture firm ACD Girardet & Associés, with DVVD Architectes assisting with the retractable roof.

In the words of the organisers, the Prix Versailles’ world selections pay tribute “to innovation, creativity, reflection of local, natural and cultural heritage, and ecological efficiency, as well as the values of social interaction and participation which the United Nations holds in high regard”.

Intelligent sustainable development

The projects selected represent “intelligent sustainable development, in which ecological, social and cultural aspects enter into a dialogue with one another, resonating with the International Appeal of 7 June 2020, launched by the Prix Versailles”.
