How and where to watch Roland-Garros 2022?

The 2022 edition of the Paris Grand Slam will once again enjoy widespread television coverage in France and abroad, with over 170 TV channels in 223 territories. Below you will find all the broadcast details to help you watch Roland-Garros wherever you are!

France: France Télévisions and Prime Video

As was the case in 2021, France Télévisions and Prime Video are guaranteeing maximum coverage of Roland-Garros throughout mainland France.

Long-time Roland-Garros partners France Télévisions will broadcast all of the matches from the Paris Grand Slam with the exception of those played in the night sessions on Court Philippe-Chatrier and Court Simonne-Mathieu. The group will show matches across its France 2, France 3 and France 4 channels as well as its France.tv digital platform, giving viewers yet more live coverage with broadcasts starting at 11 am on 22 May. Tennis fans will also have the opportunity to watch Qualifying which will be held from 16 – 20 May via the France.tv platform as well as the France tv sport app.

Prime Video meanwhile will be in the second year of coverage as a tournament broadcaster and has exclusive rights to show the ten night sessions that will be played from Monday 23 May through to Wednesday 1 June from 8.45 pm, as well as all of the matches on Court Simonne-Mathieu. Prime Video will also broadcast Qualifying from 16 – 20 May.

The semi-finals and the final of the women’s and men’s singles, women’s and men’s doubles and the final of the mixed doubles will be broadcast by both of these two groups.

International: widespread TV coverage

The tournament will enjoy significant broadcasting all around the world, having been picked up by 170 TV channels in 223 territories.

The 2022 edition will also be the first year of a new rightsholder contract with Eurosport who will broadcast the tournament exclusively in over 50 European territories (outside France) for the next five editions (2022 – 2026).

The FFT has also signed a new broadcast agreement with beIN Sports to show Roland-Garros in South-East Asia (10 territories) for the next five editions of the tournament (2022 – 2026), as well as with Elta (Taiwan) and VTV Cab (Vietnam). Sony in India and ESPN in Brazil are also coming on board this year as new broadcasters of the Paris Grand Slam.

Furthermore, the FFT has extended its broadcast agreements with SuperSport, including television and digital rights, through to 2026. As such, SuperSport will continue to broadcast Roland-Garros in over 50 countries in sub-Saharan Africa. Finally, the tournament has renewed its contract with Canal + Afrique for French broadcasting in sub-Saharan Africa through to 2026.
