The qualifying draws will continue to take shape as matches roll out all over the clay courts of Roland-Garros on Thursday.

All women's second-round matches will be contested on a packed day of action in Paris, as well as remaining second-round matches in the men's event - setting the stage for the final round of battles on Friday.

There'll also be a small handful of third-round matches contested - among them No.7 seed Denis Kudla v 24th seed Jurgen Zopp - with the winners sealing their spots in the main draw.

Former world No.10 and Roland-Garros semi-finalist Ernest Gulbis is among the competitors, playing for the first time in qualifying and facing Stefano Travaglia on Court 6 for a shot at the last stage.

A champion in 2010, Francesca Schiavone, who won a three-setter on Wednesday, will look to continue her path on the new Court 18 when she takes on American Jamie Loeb.

Several other exciting young talents in the women's draw, including Marta Kostyuk (Court 16 v Martina Trevisan), Bianca Andreescu (Court 13 v Viktoriya Tomova) and Ons Jabeur (Court 16 v Richel Hogenkamp), will also attempt to make it through to the final round for a shot at the main draw.
