Tennis fans are in for a treat on Tuesday with a feast of exciting match-ups on offer.

Play begins at 12:00pm on Court Philippe-Chatrier and 11:00am on all other courts.

Home fans on the show courts are in for a special day with French players featuring in nine of the twelve scheduled matches.

Australian Open quarter-finalist Alize Cornet kicks things off on Court Philippe-Chatrier as she attempts to get past Japan's Misaki Doi.

Second up on that court will be an emotional affair as perennial fan-favourite Jo Wilfried Tsonga, playing in his final tournament before retirement, faces No.8 seed Casper Ruud.
