La Griffe RG and #RGEnsemble: hit the shops for a good cause

A great number of charitable actions are being rolled out in the face of the current health crisis. The Roland-Garros tournament has decided to jump on the bandwagon and lend its support to the healthcare staff who are working on the front line saving people’s lives every day. #RGEnsemble

As you well know, Roland-Garros 2020 has been postponed to this autumn due to the current health crisis. As we patiently wait to be allowed back into the Porte d’Auteuil stadium, the tournament organisers are doing their bit for charity with their #RGEnsemble initiative, which supports the AP-HP (Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris) Foundation.

Roland-Garros is supporting all healthcare workers in the fight against Covid-19 by setting up various charitable actions. One of these involves La Griffe Roland-Garros, with €5 donated to the hospital foundation for every product sold that features the RG20 poster (with the exception of any stamp-collecting products).

Shopping for a good cause

From 9th June 2020, La Griffe Roland-Garros will donate €5 to the AP-HP Foundation for every official RG2020 poster T-shirt sold, then from the beginning of July this will be extended to all accessories sold from the official RG2020 poster collection (posters, mugs, notebooks, etc.). Mastercard, the Parisian Grand Slam’s official supplier, is hopping on the back of this initiative by donating an additional €5 for every purchase from the poster collection paid for using a Mastercard.

This operation will continue until the end of the tournament this autumn.

It is a great opportunity to do some shopping for a good cause and show your admiration for the unceasing commitment of the people who are on the front line saving lives in the midst of this pandemic.
