The final of the world’s largest eTennis tournament, featuring 400,000 participants in 2023, will be played at the Roland-Garros stadium on Friday May 26, and will be broadcast live on the channel of well-known streamer Rivenzi (at 16:30, France) as well as on the Wildlife Studios channel (at 16:15, International).

Eight hopefuls vying for victory

Just like last year, this huge competition has been fought out on Tennis Clash, the world’s most popular tennis mobile game, with more than 120 million downloads already.

After a series of intense qualifying stages, eight players including William Foster – the winner of the 2022 edition and the Australian Open Tennis Clash – will go head to head for the championship as well as €5,000 euros in prize money (shared between the winner and the runner-up) put forward by the French Tennis Federation, with BNP Paribas as the presenting partner and Renault as the official partner.

Here are the 8 finalists:

  • Winner Open qualifier #1 (23 to 27 February): Sharon Am-Shalem (Israel)
  • Winner Open qualifier #2 (23 to 27 March): Anass Benghazi (France) – 2022 finalist
  • Winner Open qualifier #3 (20 to 24 April): Shenghao He (China) and Noam Abitbul (Israel)
  • Winner Handigamers closed qualifier: Rayann Chaghla (France)
  • Winner Women in Games closed qualifier: Maricela Espinosa (Colombia)
  • Winner Community Clash closed qualifier: Axel Guenin (France)
  • Wild-card awarded to the winner of the Australian Open Tennis Clash: William Foster (England) – winner of the 2022 edition Roland-Garros eSeries by BNP Paribas

The day before the big event, the eight finalists will take part in an eSport workshop so that they are ready to give their all at Roland-Garros before millions of viewers on Twitch. The Grand Final will be played at the Roland-Garros stadium and will be broadcast live from 4.30 p.m. on the channel of the streamer Rivenzi, a real reference point for sport on Twitch. Once again, he will be presenting the competition with LittleBigWhale and this year’s special guest, Gilles Simon. The President of the French Tennis Federation, Gilles Moretton, the young French tennis hopeful Luca Van Assche and photographer Corinne Dubreuil will also be present.
