Ah, memories! At the most recent Parisian Grand Slam in June, Sam, Rose and Elie were the face of the 2021 Roland-Garros collections, along with their parents Laureen and Ridouane. The “Happy Cheris Kids” family welcome us to their apartment in Greater Paris, and share their Roland-Garros back-to-school shopping list with us.

Follow this guide if you want to take some Roland-Garros style in your schoolbag and be the smartest kid in the playground!

Back to school for the little ones

The clock is ticking: just two more sleeps before hanging their coat on their dedicated coat-hook, seeing friends again and meeting the new teacher!

At the ripe old age of 4, Elie is getting ready to turn heads with his own style. He’s chosen the Roland-Garros cotton piqué polo-shirt for his first day back. Nothing better than a cute coloured polo shirt for leading the way down the playground slide!

The La Griffe Roland-Garros collection has everything kids need this year: pencil-cases, schoolbags and notebooks are ready to knuckle down on 2 September.

This collection has got everything you need to equip the family team with the most stylish school supplies. The Color Block Roland-Garros pencil case for the classroom, the Delsey x Roland-Garros pencil case for homework, and the Floating tennis ball, racquet and clay Roland-Garros ballpoint pen for perfect cursive lettering!

Back to school for the tweens

Roll call! This autumn, Sam, aged 10, is all about the color blocking.

So of course the Roland-Garros Color Block Kid's Cap – which you must have spotted on all the beaches in France this summer – is still on trend for the playground, and will be proudly perched on the heads of all young Roland-Garros fans.

Rose, aged 12, and a tennis champion in the making, never goes anywhere without her favourite rubber tennis ball keyring, hanging from her schoolbag or her tennis bag when she’s headed to practice.

“I have a mini tennis ball that I always have with me, everywhere I go, attached to my schoolbag and my gym bag.”

For tackling geometry, fractions and multiplication tables roundly, why not dress your children in the Lacoste x Roland-Garros t-shirt, the Roland Garros sailor T-shirt, or the very cool "Beau Joueur" t-shirt? For schoolbags, choose between the Color Block backpack or the Delsey x Roland-Garros School Backpack – both are sure to please!

From the tennis courts to homework

Vowels that don’t seem fully rounded, a shaky-looking alphabet and words that seem to fall off the edge of the page? Ah, the beauty of your kids’ first attempts at writing in their copybooks. To add a bit more motivation to learn, why not throw in some accessories from the Roland-Garros stationery collection?

Back to school means back to homework, and, just like Sam, Rose and Elie, make sure your children are working in optimum conditions – try the Roland-Garros notebook, alongside its partner in crime, the Roland-Garros pencil eraser, sure to provide inspiration.
