Eager to offer the best possible experience to all of its users, Roland-Garros is making its website easier to browse for people with a disability.
We believe that the internet should be available and accessible to everyone, and we are committed to providing a website that is accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of their circumstances and/or capabilities. We want to adopt this public-spirited and solidarity approach for the long term.
With this collaboration, we are adopting this public-spirited and solidarity approach for the long term. During this digital transition, and with the support of AccessiWay, we are committed to improving the digital accessibility of our website over the coming years.
Audit in progress.
Digital accessibility means that people with a disability can use the internet. More precisely, they can see, understand, browse and interact with the Web, and they can contribute online. Digital accessibility also benefits other people, particularly elderly people whose capabilities change with age. Web accessibility includes all disabilities that affect their access, whether visual, cognitive or motor.
For example, an accessible website allows them to:
· Browse with text-to-speech and/or a Braille display (primarily used by blind and visually-impaired users);
· Customise the website display according to their requirements (enlarging the font, changing the colours, etc.);
· Browse without using a mouse (with the keyboard, a touch screen, voice commands or any other suitable accessory).
To do this, the website must respect the standards applicable when it is created and updated.
If you are unable to access any content or services, you can contact the FFT’s accessibility manager at dpo@fft.fr, who will direct you to alternative content or will help you access the content in a different format.
This procedure should be followed if you have reported an accessibility problem that is preventing you from accessing any of the website’s content or services to the website manager and have not received an adequate response.
