Born on 9 January 2002 – between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, whom he notably faced as a junior – the Boulogne‑sur-Mer left‑hander did not enjoy the same precocious breakthrough as some of his peers. Nevertheless, he made promising first steps on the professional circuit in 2020 before hitting a significant milestone in 2022, when he captured his first four Futures titles.
