Activities

Aside from all the tennis action, there will be lots for you to do and see on your visit to Roland-Garros 2025.

Trophies on display

The Coupe des Mousquetaires and the Coupe Suzanne-Lenglen will be on display throughout Opening Week, opposite the clay wall on the Allée Marcel Bernard. Respectively hoisted aloft by the men’s and women’s singles champions each year, they are sure to prove a big draw for fans keen to get a close-up view of some of the most prized silverware in the game.

Blindtest

There will be musical interludes between matches during qualifying week (19 – 24 May) in the Square des Serres, where a DJ will put fans’ pop knowledge put to the test by playing snippets from some big hits and delving into some player playlists.

A tribute to Rafael Nadal

Fans attending the Court Philippe-Chatrier on Sunday 25 May will have the chance to honour the one and only King of Clay, with a special ceremony being laid on after the day session’s three matches in tribute to the 14-time Roland-Garros champion.

A fascinating, immersive exhibition will also run throughout the tournament (19 May – 9 June) at the Tenniseum, where visitors will find out what goes on behind the scenes at the tournament, from the locker rooms to the press room, and will also have the chance to walk out on court, just like the players. They will also relive the many highlights of Rafael Nadal’s glittering career, from his first steps on Parisian clay in 2005 to his last on the Court Philippe-Chatrier in 2024, through photographs, videos and the player’s personal belongings.

Tributes will also be paid to Mary Pierce and Richard Gasquet throughout the tournament. It is 25 years since Pierce won her Roland-Garros women’s singles title, while Gasquet is appearing at the Porte d’Auteuil for the very last time in his career.

Meet and greet

Your favourite tennis players will be appearing at the Tenniseum from 19 May through to 8 June, answering your questions, posing for selfies and revealing a different side to themselves away from the court. Admission is via Gate 4. For more info, check the big screens and the “On site” section on the official Roland-Garros app.

Ephemeral tattoos

Get some skin in the game by stopping off for an ephemeral tattoo at the Roland-Garros tattoo stand, situated at the corner of Allée du Village and Allée Marcel Bernard. The stand will be open from 19 May to 8 June and is the perfect place for youngsters and the not so young to pick up an iconic tournament souvenir.

Mural colouring

Make your mark on your visit to Roland-Garros by helping to colour in our giant mural, which is open every day from 19 May to June 8, on the Allée des Clubs, next to Court 8.

RG Explorer

Explore Roland-Garros in the most unique of ways by visiting the RG Explorer map (available at the official tournament website and app) between 24 May and 8 June, answering questions at each animation location and hunting for clues. They’ll lead you to a mystery QR code hidden in the stadium complex and which will allow you to spin a digital wheel and potentially win prizes, including tickets for two to the final of the Rolex Paris Masters.

The Chatrier Experience

Step into the shoes of the champions and make the walk they make from the locker room to the legendary Court Philippe-Chatrier, courtesy of the screens on every wall of an immersive VR room that takes you behind the scenes at the Parisian Grand Slam. The experience is available for you to enjoy for the duration of the main draw, on the forecourt of the Court Simonne-Mathieu.

And in the very same spot and just as we did last year, we’ll be giving you the opportunity to “Play the Umpire” and see the tournament the way they do, from their chair and in the thick of the action. You’ll even be calling the scores out!

Square des Serres

We’ve got some superb fun and games lined up for you in the Square des Serres, every day from 24 May to 8 June, just behind the forecourt of Court Simonne-Mathieu. New this year is Smash Corner, where you can check the speed of your serve and try to outhit your favourite players.

You can also follow the on-court action live thanks to the big screens, while a DJ and musicians will be on hand to help you chill out and relax at this warm and inviting space.

Exhibition match

24 May is Yannick Noah Day at Roland-Garros and as part of the celebrations, Court Philippe-Chatrier will host a very special mixed doubles exhibition match consisting of a super tie-break. All the players will be miked up for the occasion, so you can get to hear all the chit-chat and inevitable bickering! It should be a whole lot of fun. Don’t miss it!

Makeup bar

Stop off at Roland-Garros makeup bar (between courts 4 and 5, from 21 to 24 May) and deck yourself out in the famous tournament colours. Get right into the swing of things with a splash of colour and some glitter.

Make your own bracelet

Bracelet making is the name of the game on the Court Suzanne-Lenglen forecourt from 21 to 24 May. Take some recycled pearls, including one bearing the tournament logo, and make yourself something special to remember the tournament by.

Come and play on the Roland-Garros clay

To make the most of a unique opportunity to step on the hallowed clay of Roland-Garros all you have to do is scan a QR Code on Court 4 and join a virtual queue. You’ll receive an SMS telling you when it’s your turn. It all happens on Yannick Noah Day (May 24) and again on 5 – 8 June.

A weekend of inclusivity

Held in partnership with the Adecco Group, the "Tous en fauteuil" event will once again be promoting the sport of wheelchair tennis to the general public. The fun takes place on Court 9 on Friday 6 June (from 10 am to 7 pm) and everyone is invited!

It’s all part of the Roland-Garros weekend of inclusive tennis, which features a host of other activities on the same court on 7 and 8 June, all of them showcasing inclusive tennis and its many variations: tennis for the deaf and hard of hearing, visually impaired tennis, and adapted tennis.

Urban tennis

With the support of Wilson, you can try your hand at urban tennis, a variation of the sport that can be played anywhere and by anyone. Three urban tennis courts will be set up at the complex: one on the northern forecourt of the Court Philippe-Chatrier, a second on the southern forecourt of the Court Suzanne-Lenglen, and a third on the northern forecourt of the Court Simonne-Mathieu.

Beach tennis

Roland-Garros is serving up some more beach tennis again this year, giving it pride of place on Court 8 from 5 to 8 June. Step out on the sand and try your hand at this immensely enjoyable version of the game. There will also be slots available for you to hit a few shots with the members of France’s junior beach tennis team, and a recreational zone will be set up around the court too.

Pickleball

Straight out of the USA, pickleball is growing fast in Europe and France. This enjoyable and accessible racket sport will be showcased at the Stade Roland-Garros for the second year running. A court will be set up in front of Court Philippe-Chatrier from 25 to 31 May and onCourt 5 from 5 to 8 June. Helping the event go with a swing will be activity leaders and a presenter.

Padel

Head to Court 5 between 5 and 8 June and have a go at this fun and addictive sport, with exhibition matches also laid on.
