Art & Culture
As well as being the world’s biggest clay-court tennis tournament, Roland-Garros is also renowned for its cultural and artistic dimension, particularly through its official poster. Every year since 1980, the French Tennis Federation (FFT) has entrusted its design to either a French or foreign contemporary artist. Integral to the identity of the Roland-Garros tournament and emblematic of each edition, this work of art reflects the stories, colours and symbols that typify the Parisian Grand Slam.
