Prior to the women’s and men’s French Open finals on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June, the Coupe Suzanne-Lenglen and Coupe des Mousquetaires, transported in travel cases designed by Louis Vuitton Malletier, will be presented at two special ceremonies.

At 2.50 pm on Saturday 10 June, Alexander Skarsgard and Estelle Mossely will present the Coupe Suzanne-Lenglen in its Louis Vuitton travel case, carrying the trophy down the stairs to the front row of the Presidential Box. Skarsgard, a Swedish actor who also directs and writes screenplays, is the star of the True Blood series and the Tarzan film, released in 2016. Mossely is a boxer and won a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro

At 2.50 pm the following day, Sunday 11 June, the spotlight will be on Nicole Kidman and Tony Estanguet, who will present the Coupe des Mousquetaires in its Louis Vuitton travel case to spectators at the men’s final. Kidman is a renowned Australian-American actress and producer. In 2003, she was awarded an Oscar, and her contribution to film was acknowledged at the most recent Festival de Cannes. Estanguet has won three Olympic gold medals, and co-chairs Paris 2024, the city’s Olympic bid committee.

The two travel cases, handcrafted at Louis Vuitton Malletier’s historic workshop in Asnières, were meticulously designed to house each of the illustrious Roland-Garros trophies. Covered in Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogram canvas, both cases are fitted with the company's signature brass lock and corners. The terracotta-coloured interior evokes the clay surface. On the front, a "V" reminiscent of the lines on a tennis court adds the finishing touch to the trunk’s design. Before the women’s and men’s singles finals, Vik Muniz, the visual artist who created the 2017 Roland-Garros poster, will customise these two cases.
