Get ready for Gastronomy Day on 29 May!
Haute cuisine is on the menu at Roland-Garros on 29 May.
To celebrate fine dining in the true French tradition, our partner Lavazza has invited its ambassadors to the Village to celebrate the brand’s love of gastronomy. A grand total of nine internationally renowned chefs will develop tantalising dishes for the taste buds. French chefs Beatriz Gonzalez, Yannick Tranchant, Vivien Durand, Lionel Giraud, Richard Toix, Denny Imbroisi and Simone Zanoni will be joined by their Italian counterparts Christian and Manuel Costardi.
Lavazza’s focus on gastronomy dates back to 2001, and is one of the brand’s core values.
On Gastronomy Day, four chefs will present coffee-based recipes with the help of Potel & Chabot, one of Roland-Garros’s official suppliers.
10.00 am: gastronomic breakfast served by Beatriz Gonzalez
2.00 pm: seated lunch, with a dessert created by three French chefs: Vivien Durand, Lionel Giraud and Yannick Tranchant
6.00 pm: drinks served by bartender Roberto Cuccurullo
