Anniversary capsule collection

To properly celebrate the 30th anniversary of La Griffe Roland-Garros, luxury shoe company J.M. Weston agreed to combine its traditional know-how with the iconic tournament brand to create a capsule collection comprising three variations of Le Moc’ Weston, the successor to the famed 180 moccasin loafers. And thereby join in the celebrations of the French art de vivre and Parisian elegance.

Ochre of the court, blue of the sky, white of the lines

Roland-Garros was naturally a strong source of inspiration for the shoemaker, given the visual sensations that abound there. The ochre of the clay courts, the blue of the cloudless sky and the white of the court lines all come together as decoration on the three models (two for men and one for women) of Le Moc’ Weston produced specifically for the 2017 edition of the tournament.

Le Moc’ Weston Roland-Garros

Le Moc’, graceful and inspired by the 180 moccasin, is an embodiment of the French spirit,  unabashed and free, qualities that correspond as much to Roland-Garros as to J.M. Weston, a firm that has been making shoes for discerning men and women for 125 years. Crafted with leather that is prudently selected for flexibility and support, these three models symbolise perfectly the partnership between two veritable institutions known for their elegance. The shoes are assembled with great care at the J.M. Weston factory, which has been located in Limoges since 1891.
