Lacoste and Roland-Garros enjoy a partnership that is simultaneously historic and modern, having lasted for over 45 years. The 2017 collection, co-branded to celebrate this year’s tournament, is the ideal mirror image of this: contemporary and graphical, it offers a range for men, women and children that combines pleasure and modernity.


Homage to timeless elegance

The ability to sport a relaxed look on and off the court is the notion behind this 2017 line, which is made up of functional pieces with a sporty, vintage design. Embellished with stripes, or fun and retro prints featuring a “Croc the game” slogan, a racquet and ball, or the silhouette of a player from the 1930s, the polo shirts, tees and sweatshirts are also available in female versions that retain the vintage look. Children are also catered for, with a navy blue polo marine and a tee-shirt with the same racquet-and-ball graphic on offer.


'Petit piqué' effect 

Accessories have not been forgotten about either, as Lacoste has also developed a Roland-Garros leather goods line, one that echoes the conventions and tones of the ready-to-wear collection. As well as a shopping bag and a clutch bag, both transparent with a “petit piqué” effect, and bearing the famous crocodile and the tournament logo, the collection also includes a shoulder bag and a coated-fabric sports bag. Because in matters of fashion, a tiny detail can sometimes make all the difference.
